That's funny because sometimes I don't even want her to drive her own car. She uses the wheels as curb feelers and it drives me nuts. But yeah, I do get to drive her car on the weekends. I love taking the top down in nice weather, and this will be our first Boxster, and I'm really looking forward to the incredibly balanced handling. She's coming from a 2005 Z4 which was fun for a while, but I'm really really tired of it. The suspension is evil, and for some reason the run flats like to run flat. I think we average a new tire every three months.

Surprised no sport exhaust with all of the other sport options you went with. It's a well worth it option considering the cost of aftermarket. Very nice build though!

That's a good point. I'd like the exhaust, but my wife would NEVER use it. Honestly, I'd rather put exhaust money toward my own car. If this were my own car, I would've gone for it.

Same here. My wife hates it. Only swathed on when I'm alone.

Congrats!

That build is a bratwurst slice from 100K MSRP.

It's so funny how different people are. I sold a highly optioned Boxster S to a lady a few weeks ago who stated "I can't believe anyone would ever turn that Sport Exhaust off"

Yeah, kind of crazy.

Yeah, my wife will run her Boxster with throttle, PDK, and PASM sport modes off, and she'll never get any benefit from the limited slip. She'll also keep her Bose bass virtually off. But she'll get plenty of use from her heated seats, Nav, XM traffic, Bluetooth, Park Assist, and even the PCCBs. Most of the sporty stuff is for me when I get to play with it on the weekends.

That all said, I have to give her credit in other areas. She's done the BMW Car Control Clinic (in her Z4), has ridden along in the 2 Seater Indy Car, but most importantly she lets me decorate the garage with near-****, and doesn't give a crap when I look at some 18yo hottie. Oh, and she lets me buy whatever I want, reminding me that "life is uncertain, eat dessert first."

Nice built. Congrats!

Just not sure how Yellow seat belts tie into the rest of the "decor". Also, I have recently seen a C2S in Aqua Blue with rims in exterior color and it looked like a $1.000.000.

Nice wife, I got rid of mine because she wouldn't let me do any of those things including buying expensive toys.

I think the yellow belts will look great with the PCCBs (which look amazing next to aqua blue). But you're right -- it's a risk. We tried for deviated yellow stitching but were told that we couldn't order deviated stitching in a Boxster. Oh well.

No risk. Easy change out to black belts, and I'll buy your yellow belts as back ups for mine.

You guys are living the dream:

Tell me to shutup if you must but what about a PtS Riviera Blue instead?
You could probably drop a few of these frills and still be under a $100k (Dynamic Cornering Lights , Auto A/C, Adaptive Sports Seats or Three-Spoke Multi-function Steering Wheel)
PS PCCB on a Boxster, nice!

Riviera Blue
Black Top
Black Full Leather
Convenience Package
Bi-Xenon Headlights
Dynamic Cornering Lights
Windstop
Auto Dimming Mirrors with Rain Sensor
Auto A/C
Porsche Crest on Headrests
Infotainment Package with BOSE
Porsche Communication Management (PCM) WITH Navigation Module
BOSE® Surround Sound System
XM Radio
ParkAssist Rear
Limited Slip Rear Differential Lock
Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB)
Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
Sport Chrono Package Plus
18" Boxster S II Wheel
Wheels Painted in Black
5mm Wheel Spacers
Multi-stage Heating System
Adaptive Sports Seats
Seat Belts in Speed Yellow
Three-Spoke Multi-function Steering Wheel
