Default Brake Light Polarity for LED

I'm switching my brake light from regular BA15S bulb to LED but unfortunately it won't light up.
I've checked the polarity of the LED, and the + need to be on the bottom part of the bulb, the minus on the side

Is this the way the 02 Boxster S bulb receptacle is wired?

Thanks for confirmation

Was afraid of that answer.
Came across another pair of led with a "auto-polarity" kind of sign and they work fine...but are twice more expensive.
