I am confused, the IMS bearing is just sort of "mocked in"? right? how did you get it all so clean?

IMS bearing is installed behind the triangular flange at the top of this assembly. This assembly is upsidedown from it's position when installed in the complete engine in the car. In the previous picture you can see the complete IMS as it comes back from LN Engineering, cleaned, checked for straightness & alignment of the timing gears with LN bearing installed in IMS & billet flange torqued. Everything else is scrubed with Simple Green followed by Isopropol alcohol & lint free towels.

I was just wondering, I thought the triangular flange bearing housing went on the outside of the engine case after the crank carrier and ISM got installed and thought it may just be sort of place there in the photo. However, I don’t really know, I am just starting to learn these engines getting ready ……….asking dumb questions …… fishing for tips like How did you get every thing so clean? simple green, never would have tried that, Thanks

Yes, the 3.2 cams are the same as 3.4 & the injectors can supply enough fuel to feed it without changing programming.
