anyone here race or trade their 2003/2004 boxster S and use BBS wheels, and hoosier R6s'??

i have a few CCW wheels sets ive been racing over the last year, and yet the tire rotates onthe rim. today i had them perfectly balanced, brand new sticker set, heat treated, and bang, 3 laps in the tires had rotated like 180 degrees on the rim.

creates some rough vibrations from imbalance.

so im thinking maybe its a CCW/hoosier incompatability?
maybe BBS works better?

u guys use Hoosier R6s with BBS wheels? any tire slips in a full throttle race situation??

anyone suffer the same thing with CCWs and Hoosiers? suggestions, thoughts?

Tell the tire shop to not use as much tire lube and to wipe it off after the tire is mounted, but before they seat the beads. Have them spray some extra strength hair spray on the beads and then inflate the tires. Then balance as usual.

i have had 8 sets of BBS, mounted nitto, toyo, s umimoto, michelin, pirelli, hoosier R6,R80/R100, they never rotate more than a few inces and never out of balance.

Some of the race shops around here will balance the wheel and then mount the tire as all tires will rotate on the wheel at some point...
