Default Interest in One-Touch Convertible button?

Would you guys be interested in a one-touch button to put the top up or down?

I know there are some products already out there like this but the least expensive one is around $150.

The only function of this product would be to able to press the Top-Up or Top-Down button once and have the top do it's thing. No operation while moving ( you can do that with the pin 18 mid if you really want to). It would be for the 996 Cab and 986.

So the question is:

Would you buy this, and if so, how much would you like to pay for it?

Thanks for your response.

Install would be an easy DIY.

I would probably pay for it too, though I would likely want to figure how out how it worked more than anything else

I've already disabled the thing that prevents operation of the top when the car is moving. This involved bending a pin in a relay. Did it long enough ago that I can't remember where I found the hack instructions. Now if I pull the parking brake one click I can operate the top while the car moves. Just have to make sure I'm going slow!

Anyway, I'd pay less than $100 for something to make operation 1-touch, but probably not more than $100. So, $75 sounds good to me.

2nd prototype worked as planned but the fitting was not perfect. 3rd Prototype should be ready in another couple of weeks.

$0.00

I am willing to hold the button for about 13 seconds...once or twice per week!

You're not the only one, I've talked to two or three people who said the same.

I really think this is one of those things that you don't know you want, but once you have it, you love it.

I would not use it. I still do the boxster chop when putting the top town so I need to stop it half way.

No interest here either. However, I think it you sell it for $75 there is a market out there for you. Good luck.
