Default Fault Code P0413 ?? SAI Issue

Looks like an SAI issue. Anyone ever address this issue? Thanks in advance.

Nope. But that won't stop me from postng what I hope you'll find useful:

My info -- for DME version 7.8 -- is that the error is an electric changer over valve open circuit error.

Possible causes: wiring harness, electric change over valve, DME control module bad.

Check voltage supply at change over valve. Remove connnector of change over valve. Measure voltage beween electric change over valve pin 1 nad ground. Switch on the ignition. Measure > 11 volts. If you measure less voltage supply to low.

Check change over valve. Remove connector of change over valve. Measure resistance at change over valve pin 1 and pin 2. 30 ohms at 20C. If reading bad replace valve.

I hesitate to post the DME test cause I'm always concerned about someone inadvertently damaging this when it is otherwise ok. My guess is you'll find the change over valve bad.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Macster..... Many thanks. I am guessing it's the change over valve.
