Default New Eibach spring install

Just got the Box S back from the shop for Eibach spring install/alignment.
Wow it's about a 2 inch drop-not 1 inch per their website spring description.

Anyway looks great-but dont know if it's practical for everyday use?

Rich

John,
no they are used. Taken off the same car a few years back after the previous owner ripped the bottom of the engin off on a manhole cover.

I hope it wont go any lower since it's borderline already for crappy North East suberbon streets geared for SUV's.

Dont worry they are already sitted no lower for them.

But to be honest from the photo they look a bit short, the rear is very compressed the wheels are 18?
I have to tell you that lowering the car only with springs that much its not a good idea other than an optic advantage it offers nothing else. The shocks arent made to work with the piston so deep and will bottom out fairly easy. Also you ruin the cars handling by altering the pivot points of the suspension that much.
If you dont care about all these dont worry but if you drive the Box maybe you should search some more.

John, thanks for that depressing news.

I took the car out today for some really hard spirited driving.

IMO it hadles way better & actually is smoother than the oem springs. The car makes way less noise/creeks etc. over the bumps/rough stuff etc.
I drove it only once with the oem springs and was very dissapointed in how much chatter the roof/cowl made.

I know Porsches and this would be a perfect upgrade with matched shocks/struts. Which will be next.
