I was going down the same path, search you'll find some info. I believe the winshield needs to come out. Ended up getting, IIRC 1/4" silver tape from Autozone. Done for about $5. Sorry for the bad phone picture. It does look good though and is holding up.

Looks great its exactly what I was for. The part is 86.00 from the Porsche Dealer I thought maybe I could just replace but maybe the jobs bigger than I thought. Thanks for your help. I'm new to rennlist and still trying to navigate around.
