Default ELECTRICAL PROBLEM: Insturment Digital display stay on whencar is off...

[FONT="Arial Black"]This just started...the digital display portion of my insturments stays on when the car is off. When I use the remote key to lock the car, the horn gives a little warning toot as if a door was ajar.
I have checked the doors (the interior light turns off when the doos are closed.
I have checked the trunk switches and they are working correctly.
Any Thoughts?????

WAG: Ignition key switch faulty and ignition switch/car security system thinks key still in ignition.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Default Wow..That sounds familiar..I bet that's it.

My 98 Boxster needed a new ignition switch (the fan and radio would only work when the key was wiggled "just right"). I bet that's it... not uncommon I hear.
Thanks!
