Default Just changed IMS bearing.

Had the tranmsmission removed so I decided to change the IMS bearing. Bought the bearing and tool from Jake Raby at Flat 6 Innovations. Did the job with rear of the car on jack stands and everythng was easy to reach.
Jake and Dean were available to answer any questions. Hopefully this was good preventive maintenance.

It was a double row. I did not make any pictures, should have.
The procedures are simple.
Lock the engine at TDC on the front crankshaft pulley.
Remove the two chain tensioners on the back of the engine.
Remove the flange.
Pull the bearing.
Install the new bearing.
Install the new bearing retainging clip.
Put on the new flange.

You use Loctite 518 and 565 on the 3 flange bolts.
Torque the 3 flange bolts to 7.5 ft lbs.
The bearing nut to 19 ft lbs.

You receive instructions with the kit and it is my understanding they are working on a video. I should have done a video.

Removing the tensioners if very simple. I can't remember the size of the plugs, something like 36 mm.
