My last Porsche before my Boxster S was a 911SC and the Boxster S is at least as quick as the SC and that's more than quick enough for the road.

the problem is the 986 has a weak drive chain.
adding any power over 300 hp exposes this fact.
im on my second 944 turbo and for the record my old 1989 944 turbo STOCK out ran and out handled the 986 on and off track.
once i ordered a set of chips (adds 48 rear wheel HP for 450.00) it became a joke up against my friends 986.

The 986 is a very good car but lets not get crazy it is underpowered by at least 50-75hp.

giving it that extra 75hp will give it that extra grunt the car sorely needs and will make it almost perfect in my OP.

the problem is getting that 75hp at an affordable price
