Hey everyone,

I’m looking to purchase a Boxster in mid to late July, and I live on the east coast. I will be having a “Porsche friend” look at it, and will ultimately fly out and drive it home.

What I'm looking for:

2000 or later (2.7 or 3.2 L)
S if possible, but not required
Manual transmission
Approximately 60k miles
Clean CarFax, no accidents
Not picky on colors, but the lighter the better
Convertible top must be in excellent shape
Must be able to pass state inspection (No CEL, good tires, brakes, CV boots, etc)

No RMS or IMS leaky issues, OK if these have been fixed in the past with documentation

Target price: $15k

area you're willing to travel to. Generally, though of course there are exceptions, east coasters buy Florida cars, cause Florida cars closer and yet like CA cars are not subject to snow/ice. Florida cars usually have low miles too.

You are always welcome to buy a CA car, though. State broke and we need all the "export" business we can get.

I have a silver '00 S with 55k mi, absolutely gorgeous condition (one of the nicest 2000s on the road), already had the 60k mi service done. Thinking about selling it toward the end of the summer if you can wait, let me know. Can send you pics too.
