Default transmission dip stick?

Is there a transmission dip stick located anywhere on my 1999 Porsche boxter so I can check my oil level?

No, Porsche had to go and make it difficult, just like everything else. You have to check the level by putting the car on a lift, and sticking a wire or allen wrench into the transmission fill hole. The exact method depends on whether it's a manual or automatic.

Do you have the Bentley manual?
