Convertible Top Replacement - Which Adhesive???
I'm planning to replace my Boxster convertible top this weekend.
Between the Rennlist, Renntech, Pelican, and Mike Focke posts on this subject, I have a lot of info on pics for the project.
However, all of these posts mentioned that you need adhesive at a certain point in the final assembly, but never mention WHICH adhesive to use.
Is is the 3M weather seal adhesive that comes in a tube?

Have you thought about going to Porsche dealership parts counter and asking for a tube (can, bottle, jug) of the top assembly adhesive and seeing what you get?
Or check with shop in area that does soft top work and see if someone at shop will give you some clue as to what adhesive to use.
Sincerely,
Macster.
