Boy did I mess up. I paid 22 for an 01 S with hard top low mileage, in good shape, but not perfect. Some rock chips on hood. PPI showed brakes in 5k miles. I deducted for that and had them replaced right away. I did buy from original owner, had all records, all mtce at dealer where it was sold, and he had a lot of things done under warranty that most peole never bother with. Still sounds like I could have gotten if for a lot less. CPI showed I was paying just about what I should for car in good condition, and I paid cash.

$15k is going to get you something with 70k+miles, under 40k mile 03 S are still getting around $20k in the west coast as of last week. Wait until Nov/Dec, it should be down a few $$.
