FOR SALE: Dansk headers and cats off my '01 986S. I am no longer tracking this car, so I've reinstalled the stock headers/cats.

The headers have about 12,000 miles on them. No dents, deformations, etc. Like new except for bluing.

The cats have only 1,400 miles on them. O2 bungs pre and post cats.

Truth in advertising: the cats were replaced due to a CEL code showing a defective cat. The first set of cats went about 10,000 miles, including an estimated 1,500-2,000 track miles. They are sold in pairs, so both were replaced with the ones I'm now selling.

The headers list for $1,240. The cats list for $1,700. Price for both: $1,000 plus shipping. Please respond by email, not PM.

Hmmmm. Who did the install locally? I am very tempted to snag these for our 986S.

What was the overall sound like? How much louder does it make the car? We don't track ours ( well I did once, but... ) so it is just street driven. Thanks!

These were originally installed by Jeff Gamroth (Rothsport). He's pretty busy with race stuff these days, so I'd recommend another shop, like Matrix., for something like this, which is pretty straighforward.

Sound depends on what exhaust you use -- the headers and sport cats will amplify that somewhat -- 15-20% louder?? I was using the Dansk sport exhaust, which I may sell later and it was just right: loud enough to hear throttle blips, but not obnoxious.

I have seen it a couple times including the last PCA day of 08 when Harvest took the Boxster out on track.

If only I had kicked down when he had these for sale!!!
