Default Price for 2004 Boxster

I'm looking at purchasing my first Porsche. Please share your thoughts on what a fair offer price would be for the following car from a private owner:

2004 Boxster 5 sp
Speed Yellow
Yellow seat stiching
PSM
Bose
17" Boxster S Wheels
Single CD
Heated Seats
Aluminum / Carbon Shift **** Trim
6,600 miles
Owner is asking $31,000

The car is honestly in excellent condition.

Edmunds is showing $28,981
KBB is showing $27,225

Does anyone have access to Manheim to see what these cars are commanding in PA?

Thanks!

You should look at galves auction prices or NADA is better than KBB.

Just ran the NADA..thanks for the suggestion. Now my question is the "Retail Price". That's dealer price, not private party, correct?

TOTAL PRICE $27,650 (Trade In) $31,450 (Retail)

It's hard to say what a fair price is. Prices vary greatly by area. I'm in the DC region, and prices seem to be higher here than in other parts of the country. If I was you. I'd check the local prices on Autotrader.com. I just bought a 2004 Boxster, 12k miles, 17" wheels with new Pireli P Zero tires, pretty much exactly what you're looking at except it was an off-color (dark burgundy); I paid $29k for the car with a 2 year Porsche certified warranty. The dealership had been offering the car for $36k. But with the weak market in general, and the off color, they got no takers. So I picked it up as a back-and-forth to work vehicle. Couldn't be happier. I've always loved mid-engined cars (I've owned 4), and its much easier to live with on a daily basis than my 1990 C2 was (I do kinda miss the old-school feel of the 964 though ).
