Will these fit a standard boxster ?

I just tried to fit a set of 18" diamater, 10" wide, 65mm offset 5 spoke twists to the rear of my 2000 boxster and they hit the shock tower.

Hi Tom,

Yes they should. I had them on a 2003 Boxster.

Hmm, wonder what I did wrong then. I clearly had the wheel hitting the rear shock tower when I tried to bolt it on. The wheels I had tried were from a 2003 996. My current 18" rims are only 9" wide in the back with a 52mm offset. Too confusing, is it beer:30 yet ? hehe : )

These reproduction wheels come in different sizes and offsets. I've seen them in 10" wide, 65 offset (not for boxster fitment unless you use spacers), 9" wide and 52 offset (stock Boxster) and 10" wide, 45ish offset (fits on a Boxster).

Since the OP doesn't state his offset but did state they fit on a Boxster, I presume the offset is somewhere in the 40-45 range.

Hi Guys,

I will get you the off sets when I get home from work. But, I had the same concerns and so I called the Manf. before I mounted the tires. When the car is jacked up they just barely clear. But, when the car is down, all is well. I ran these at Mid-Ohio , Beaverun, and Watkins Glen with NO issues.

They are perfect!!!!
