Default Oil Change Frequency?

I bought my '03 Boxster at a Porsche dealer last May. 33K miles, Porsche certified. There was a Mobil 1 oil change at the time.

Since then, I've driven about 4500 miles, mixed driving, no tracking. Car always garaged. I drive about 6K miles per year. The car has not used any oil since the oil change last May.

The question is: Should I change the oil this summer at 6K miles, or wait until 12K miles next year?

One a year no matter if it sits on blocks. I also set 7500 mile limit. Cheap insurance. If your interested in getting a real projection on when you should be changing the oil in your car I would recommend Black Stone labs or similar company for an oil analysis. The analysis will also give you valuable information on what is going on in your engine. I have done it for both the engine a oil and ATF. If you would like a email of my last one just let me know and I would be happy to send it to you.
