Cary/Apex, NC Coffee and Bagels
A few of us are meeting at the Bean & Bagel on Saturday mornings for a little informal social time and car show & tell. There are only 4 or 5 of us on any given Saturday, but I've only ever listed on the 996 forum.
If you're interested, everyone is welcome - P-Car or no P-Car. The owners of the Bean & Bagel are Christina and Kit. They're great people who own a modest place with a huge parking lot for owners to meet and talk without any crowds or limitations on space.
B&B is at Apex Peakway next to the Lowes grocery store off rt. 55. Across the street from the new Apex healthplex.

I've heard from 996, 997, 944 and Cayman owners so far - not a big group; just a few folks. Any Boxster owners planning to attend? If so, we'd love to see you tomorrow morning at the B&B for a cup of coffee and a bagel (and shmeer). I'll be there at 7:30.

For our usual attendees who couldn't make it today, here's a quick update:
Randy (996-C2 Aero), Manil (C4S) and I (996-C2 Aero) were joined by Brad (Cayman S). My 10 yr old son was also there to enjoy the Porsches. We drove out together and headed up 64 so Randy and Brad could check out the Tech Session at European Performance. It was great to be in the line of 4 beautiful Porsches charging up the road.
I"ll be in San Francisco next week, but I hope everyone else will still get together either the Bean & Bagel or Brier Creek. I told Manil that we could meet at B&B when I get back and then head over to B&B in a group. Also, you may have seen on another thread that I'm hoping to set-up a weekend drive with some Knoxville owners.

Tomorrow, we'll be meeting in the morning at Bean & Bagel (between 7:30 and 10:00 am) - whenever you can get there.

Charles and I talked about getting a group together to spectate or participate in the Hurricane Region's charity concours at the Ingram Collection in Durham. It's Saturday from 8-10 (you might want to check the PCA website/Hurricane Region for the details). It's $25 the day of the event to enter.
I propose we meet at Bean & Bagel by 7:30 - they open at 7:00 am, for those who are ambitious.
Post if you're interested in going. If you'd like to see what it looked like last year, there are pictures posted under the Hurricane Region's photos subdirectory.

I'll be at the Bean & Bagel this Saturday morning. With it being the Memorial Day weekend, I suspect many of you will be out of town. But, for those who are in town, let me know you're coming. I'll be there at 7:30.
