Default Oil Seepage (Not RMS) Question

A close friend is looking to buy an '03 2.7, it has 39K miles; car is really nice. But when he took it to dealer, they put it on a lift and found oil seepage on the left side at the base of one of the cylinders. Oil is not dripping and the RMS is dry. Should he still consider this car, especially if he can get it discounted, or should he move on to another car?

I'd get a picture of it and post it here.

Is the oil leak near the coil pack? I would think a leaking spark plug tube.

Be careful though,you never know.

Take it to a Porsche dealership if your friend is serious about buying it and get a PPI done there.

He should move on to a shop that can tell him where the oil is leaking from and can give him an estimate to fix.

Aways get a PPI from Porsche. It's a peace of mind.

Air-Oil Separator. The bellows connecting the separator to the crankcase rot through and allow oil mist to blow on top of the engine.
