Bob -

here's a pic showing the M030 RoW height (car on the left) and the H&R ride height (car on the right).

my car (left) really did take awhile to settle to this height.

thanks for the info an numbers... I just got my suspension from Suncoast and if I hadn't read this thread I would have gone nuts looking at a cero drop, now I know aht to expect and I will measure before install...

what I haven't got all that well is the 3mm and 6mm spacers, where are those located, how come we can choose? can I choose , that should be my question? because I didn't see any spacer anywhere in the box... please give me more info...

this is my actual height before M030

lets hope for the best...

The spacers are rubber grommets that fit one top of the spring. They are either 3mm or 6mm, depending on the length or the spring. the spring is color coded to indicate which spacer is appropriate.

I remember I got them when I bought a complete M030 (US) kit, however when I bought just the ROW springs for a different car, i only got springs.

I wish I could tell you the colors and associated spacer size but I don't have a shop manual.

I called my guy at the local dealer and told him to order me the 3mm spacers... now do I need rears too?

Please let me know asap so I can order everything together... TIA

These spacers are at the front and rear. If the springs are already for the 3mm space you won't gain anything, but they are cheap.

All I can add to this fine thread it I deal with PCNA every day, and EVERY DAY I find another way they can confuse the heck out of you. How about this one. just sold a set of CF gt3 seats, and one is missing the seat belt harness plug that should be attached. I contacted Porsche and was told I'd have to send a PICTURE of the missing plug!!!! huh??????

Anyone know what green/yellow springs mean? I'm assuming stock, since they don't match any of the colors listed above.

Just out of curiosity how come you guys opted for the MO30 set up instead of some sort of coilovers? I want to lower my car and also need new shocks and struts so Ive been looking at coilovers and never thought about the MO30 and new shocks.

The ROW M030 is both shocks/springs, and front/rear sway bars. $1100 is a great price for the set. I probably only need to replace the shocks, but since I'm in there, might as well replace the springs as well.

Looking at the Bilstein sport shocks, they're about $900. So an extra $200 I can get new springs and sway bars that are upgrades from stock, and have shocks that are very similar to the Bilstein sports.

Anyone else that did this conversion, what other components did you replace?

I'm considering the (as named on the pelicanparts.com website) rubber bump stop (bushing), protection boot for front shock absorber, front shock absorber mount lower rubber bushing, rear shock absorber mount, and suspension bushing grease. Anything else I should be looking at while I'm in there?

Along with all the the other changes, I want to lower the car between .75 and 1.5 inches - closer to .75 than 1.5 I hope. I have the M030 would I just need the RoW M030 Springs to accomplish this? is there any difference in the sway bars between the RoW and US and do I care?

Default I have an 01S and ROW030 conversion

I just had the ROW030 suspension conversion from
the M030 (US) sports suspension. It definitly dropped the
hight. I too did not measure the ride hight first, but found
I could not get my jack under the rear jack point without
using another smaller jack to slightly raise the car first.
Before I could just squeeze it under without assistance.

I (and alot of others) have looked at cars side by side
where one had the M030 and one had the ROW030. It is
still hard to notice the ROW030 is much lower.

I would say give it some time (maybe a week of driving)
and most of the settling should be done. I was concerned
about settling and alignment issues, but did not have any.
By the way, I got my parts from Suncoast some years ago
with a group purchase to get a good price.

The sway bars are the same for the M030 and ROW030
suspensions. I actually sold my sway bars from the kit as
I did not need them, already having the M030 suspension
on my car from the factory. The conversion then consists
of springs, struts, shocks and a 4 wheel alignment.

I looked into this kit at the end of last year and according to Suncoast and confirmed by others, it is no longer available from Porsche.

I would be very happy if they re-issued it.
