FS: Winter Tire Set
Moving south in <3 weeks - Must sell. Will take $1,000 OBO if picked-up at my location. The wheels are a 52mm off-set.
For sale – Set of Boxster Winter Tires with less than 1K miles of use. Boxster will migrate to NC or FL next winter.
Set consists of 4 Michelin Pilot Alpin 235/40R18 91V N1 mounted on Tire Rack Sport Cup III rims (18” x 8.5”). Bought in Dec 2007 for $1,880. $1,00 OBO plus shipping if required.

The winter tires are for more than snow. When the temp drops below 45 the normal summer compound tires strart to get hard - almost like hockey pucks. The colder it gets the more grip you lose.
Lot's of days at, or below freezing here. Which was the main reason I put them on the wife's car. They're also great for snow too

I might have considered this if I had seen it earlier. I sold my Rossos and put Kumho all seasons on.
I drive less than 7500 miles per year, so I can't justify two sets of tires. An all season is fine for the Philly area.
