Default GT3 mod on a 986

I just added the GT3 RS brake ducts to my Boxster

See pics below;

The size difference (compaired to the stock Boxster pieces) is dramatic.

The pic shows (top to bottom)

- Stock 986
- GT3
- GT3 RS

You're not worried about getting ice on your rotors during winter with all that forced air cooling?

Nope, the 986 is my summer car. I do anticipate that these will help keep my brakes cool up at Road America this weekend.....

To install you just need to remove the front tires, unclip the old ones and clip on the new units. The clips were a little stubborn but not too bad.

As for how much????

Ray S. they do work well but consider them a consumable as the lower edge gets shreaded on the gator-backs over time. Not sure if you have also tried the GT3 adjustable lower control arms but they make an immediate improvement night/day.
