Will 993 wheels fit on a Boxster??

I just got thru looking for a second set of rims for my 993 so maybe this will help.
There are differences between the OEM Boxster wheels and the wheels recommended for the 993 in both the 17" and 18" rim sizes.
Narrow body 993s with 17" rims ran 7" on the front and 9" on the rear both with 55mm offsets. I believe that the Boxster 17" rim was the same in the front, but only 8.5" wide in the rear with a 50mm offset. With 18" wheels, I believe that the Boxster runs 7.5" front with a 50mm offset and 9" rear with a 53mm offset. For the 993 it was an 8" front with 52mm offset and 10" rears with 65mm or 40mm offset depending on whether it is a narrow or wide body car.
NOTE: This is a duplicate of the response posted to the same question on the 993 Board.
