Latest word is that the new glass window top CAN INDEED be retrofitted on old Boxsters. But it will be very expensive. This upgrade will make more sense when you are replacing an old top.

 

The interesting thing for me is that the early generation 2.5ltr Boxster now looks like an absolute steal (prices have dropped considerably in the UK) as a daily car!...hmmm maybe my Audi Avant may get it in the back afterall!!!

 

2.5L values have plummeted. Maybe the thing to do is...pick up a 2.5L Boxster for a song, then ship it to Ruf for a 3.6L conversion! You could probably do this for approximately the same price as a new 2.7L Boxster.
