Default Dumb question regarding CDR 220

Hey Guys,

Let me start by appologizing as this is probably a very dumb question. I recently bought a CDR 220 so that I may integrate my ipod with it. I also bought the CD changer cable from porche dealer (which was another dumb thing as I paid $110 for the cable. turns out you can get the same thing for $20 from becker). Now the only issue is how do I make my CDR 220 recognize the ipod? Is there any auxillary mode? how do I put the unit into that mode?

Please advise

Regards,
Aman

Aman,

You just need to select AUX with the source button (S)
You will lose your CD changer if you have one.

I pressed the source button. But it says no cd and never goes into any aux mode. I do not have a CD changer installed.

Aman,

Borrowed from another forum " you hold down the tp button for about 10 seconds. It'll take you into a menu where one of the options is to enable aux input. Then you can switch to aux with the source button."

Hope this helps.
