2.7L Boxtser Mods
I was wondering if I could hear from 2.7L Boxster owners on the performance mods they have made.
I am not interested in any supercharging/turbo applications due to the grenade factor on a motor already running 11:1 compression. However, have any of you:
1. Upgraded Intake (K&N, Airetek intake, etc..)
2. Exhaust (BB headers/muffler, etc..
3. Chips for fuel management, etc..
Have you been on a dyno after mods? Any characteristics of the car that have changed for better or worse since the mod(s)?
Thanks!!

FVD sell a setup for the 2.7 consisting of the following.
Sport Motronic DME Exchange - FVD98661830 - $1500
Sport Airfilter - 47014001 - $80
Header System - 210111986S - $1250
They also have Sport Cats and muffler options if you are interested.
Sport Catalytic - 2.7 - 21011119S - $1120
Sport Muffler - oval pipe - 210111BOOS - $799
FVD is not the least expensive product in the market but their quality is fantastic. They fabricate their own products and sell to many tuners. They did my 3.4 conversion with headers and sportcats and motronic and I am one happy customer. Ask for Bryan Roth - (954) 781-5771

I used Bobby at Foreign Affairs www.2fam.com they had one of there Boxster's in Autoweek it's on there web site. They have dyno tested all the products that they sell and they use proven products from reputable company's they don't try to fool people in thinking there products are something else. Foreign Affairs owners are National Porsche & BMW Tech Stewards
Beware, some of FVD products are bad copies!

Hey Bob, sorry you have been so badly misinformed about the FVD product line. Curious, what do you think are bad copies ?? Maybe we can shed some light and educate you a little.
