Post best performance upgrades for boxster s ?

Hello all, I have just acquired a 2001 Boxter S.
What are the best performance upgrades to consider to for increased power. I love the car, I just think it needs about 10-15% more power to really make me giggle.

special tool,is there really any need for that.I guess some people love to start trouble...TTP ECU, TTP headers and Evo intake will get you 30-35 Dyno proven HP.Estimated cost is about $3k .In fact there someone on Pete's Porsche Boxster Board by the name of Chad running these mods.He is getting 4.8 0-60,13.2@110 1/4mile on the GTECH.I think that will make you giggle.

AutobahnNy, pluuuease tell me that all the other Boxster owners have thicker skin then you. There is no need for you to get so bent up over such a minor statement.

Oh well, guess the truth hurts eh?

Geez if I thought a simple question like this would cause such a politcal ruckus- I would have posted it long ago- just kicked back and watched the fur fly.. I assume most if this is just toungue in cheek boy talk . Life is too much fun to get upset about whose model # is better than whose. He who dies with the most horsepower per lb wins.
Anyway.thanks for all the responses. I plan to be " terrorizing " <G>these boards as I used to on the 928 side a few years ago. I used to own a 94 928GTS 5 speed before the divorce. I have just gotten enough scratch back together to get this puppy and hope to have alot of fun with it along with the zany reparte in this board .

Call Bobby at Foreign Affairs they had a Project Boxster S car that was in Autoweek. They installed and Dyno'd almost every product on the market that claimed to increase horsepower. www.2fam.com

Hey Roy. Best HP upgrades for your car are ECU-REMAP, CAMSHAFTS, HEADERS, AIRFILTER and SPORT CATS. Our kit will give you 300 HP @ crank. Proven on our Dyno here and in Germany.

Won't lose power like a certain Autoweek tested Boxter S.

two years ago, i installed TTP headers, intake, and TTP ECU. dyno charts show that im making 243RWHP. WEnt to the local drag strip. did ALOT of low 4.8 and 4.9 0-60s....Now, if I would just go on a diet and lose 40 lbs.....IM sure I could hit a 4.7 0-60.....
