Robert, Are there any negatives that you can share in re the above mentioned mods. IE excessive noise (intake or exhaust), idle irratability, etc. Thanks.Roy

About how much total did it cost you (labor included)? Those improvements are great.. and 1/4 mile around low to mid 13s?

Those improvements are great.Headers and ECU is next on my list of mods.No labor for ECU,intake you can do your self.Headers is really your only labor charge, but im sure Robert can tell you more.

i stayed with stock muffler., Ive dynoed just about every muffler out there and ive never found a muffler that didnt LOSE power over the stock one. SPort cats only give 5HP. As for noise. Just a slight gurgling noise over stock headers. I also lost 4 MPG on average with my mods. I dont work for TTP but I did ALOT of research on all tuners for the Boxster and ive talked at length with Guenther who did the ECU's for TTP and the Quality and research and VERIFIABLE proof lies with TTP. He told me what gains I would get. I went and dyoned the car , multiple times and at different dynoes and everything matched what he said. my 1/4 was 13.08 12.99. No problem with idle or noise. very livable .

So, it seems the concensus is Intake, Headers, and ECU. I would inagine the headers and any other exhaust mods and the intake upgrade would leave the factory warranty intact. The ECU will probably void it. From my previous Porsche experience, Factory warranty- good-; no factory warranty -bad. What performance gains can be expected by just doing the two 'legal' changes - leaving the ECU for post warranty years? Any dyno reports about this ? Thanks

Change the ECU as Robert and I did, you won't regret it, doesn't void the warranty and you can always revert back to stock programming in a pinch if necessary. You can see all these mods at my Boxster website listed below.
