Question Has anyone done a modchip on their car?

I have a 01S and was thinking of the powerchip upgrade along with the BMC intake kit.
Does anyone have experience with this setup?
Inputs would be mostly appreciated.

I will be using <a href="http://www.xede.com.au" target="_blank">T H I S </a> programmable management.
They have a US dealer.

I will post up the DYNO sheets when it is finished

The best ECU upgrade for the Boxster is done by TTP(Turbo Technik Pietz(www.t-t-p.de))They have Boxster Software Guru Guenter Mandle from Germany who reprograms your ECU to your specific engine.GIAC also is a second chose. They have a generalized program for all Boxster that was done by Guenther Mandle. The best intake for the money and performance is the EVO intake.TTP makes a intake but very expensive with the same perfromance as the EVO.By the the way EVO also has an ECU uprgade which is done by GIAC.If you want the TTP reprogram try Paris Audio in CA,speak to Jamey. The best combo is TTP ECU and headers, with intake TTP or EVO intake.30 Dyno PROVEN horsepower.

.....actually, the BEST chip is the one that is done on the dyno
- in real time
- to suit your car specifically
