A computer guru ex-colleague of mine has formed a new company, and is in production of a very cool new product...a fully-functional Mini-ITX computer, in the form of a 996 Twin Turbo!!!

The basic specs for their "car-computer" are as follows:

- VIA C3/EDEN EBGA Processor (933 Mhz)
- either 256 or 512MB memory
- up to 80GB hard-drive (base is 20GB)
- optional cd-rom/dvd drive

No offense, and nothing personal, but $700 US for a 933 mhz processor PC is a rip off, even if you place value on what your computer case looks like. You can buy a whole lot more computer for that money, all day long from Dell's outlet page and other sources. To each his own.

I see nothing wrong with this idea. it's pretty cool but personally my PC's tend to be foot rests not desk ornaments.
