Replace plastic rear window with glass?
Has anyone done this? Has Porsche used the same parts and top mechanism for the '03( with REAL GLASS )as it has in '02 and prior so that the glass could be installed without it breaking during the up/down cycles?
Anyone? Mr.Pants??

You have to replace the entire top mechanism as the glass window is a different size (and obviously doesn't fold like the plastic window) and the shape of the top has also been changed. It's supposed to be possible but I haven't seen/heard of anyone doing it yet.

the glass window is actually a lot smaller than the plastic one.
Porsche used an extra roof bow to enable lower the roofline. The roof now is not entirely dissimilar to a 356 speedster roof
The dealer has told me it is possible to retrofit the entire roof.
