Rear Fog lights

Rear Fog lights
I have a Left Hand drive Boxster S (best car I have ever owned) as I live and purchased the vehicle in Switzerland. The problem is when I drive to the UK.
The front headlights have a switching mechanism to divert the dipped headlights for driving on the left hand side of the road but there is no such possibility to switch the single rear fog light to the light on the other side of the car.
I have checked and both sides are fitted with bulbs and the wiring appears to be the same and complete so nothing obvious there so I now wonder if it may be just a fuse missing.
If anyone has a suggestion, without rewiring the car, then I will be pleased and I will be happy for both rear fog lights to be on whilst in the UK if that is an option.
Thanks again...........Jon & 986 <img border="0" alt="[byebye]" title="" src="graemlins/wave.gif" />

You might try your question on the UK Boxster board. <a href="http://forum.boxa.net/index.php?s=" target="_blank">UK board</a>
What what I have read there is just one active rear fog light. On a LHD it is on the left, and on a RHD it is on the right. There was a site with a hack to get both to work as just putting in the 'missing bulb' is not enough. It involves running a jumper wire from one side to the other so that the non powered bulb/socket will have power when you turn the rear fog lights on.
I would like to know about this switching thing for the headlights. I know it exists for litronics, but not the standard headlights. There is a lever inside the litronic headlight - is that what you mean? Jeff
