I also own a Boxster which is prepared by PSI-Motorsports. Mine was a 3.2 S and is now a 3.2 Bi-Turbo. Results in 365HP and 455NM torque.

I haven't tested the topspeed yet but acceleration 0-62mph has already been done in 4.8 seconds.

Ramirez when you say that the 0-100Kph was made in 4.8Sec, did you use the speedometer or any other equipment such as G-pro?

If you used the speedo, you have to have in mind that 100Kph on the speedo might be real 95 or 96Kph, either way is a heel of fast time to reach 100Kph. Do you have any figures for 0-200Kph?

Rami,

Very nice, but as someone said, looks like a buttload of cash! I also wonder about giving up the rear trunk and water coming in through the vents on the trunk in a heavy rain, hopefully that isn't a problem for you. Going to tell us how much this set you back? Nice that your HP numbers are rear-wheel too!

@rami
where did you got this dyno sheet? This is from a maha one of teh best dynos in the world and the numbers you see are DEAD acurate. you do not have to guess about HP on the wheels and HP loss.
I didn't knew that someone in the US has this dyno.
great conversion. please make some 100-150 km/h tests and post them here. thanks

Konstantin
I am thinking to put a GT3 Cup engine in a Boxster but I am really not sure if I wnat to do this. who knows. we will see

Question

I have already made a down payment to Roock Germany for the exchange of the boxster S engine by a 3.6L 996 motor. I thought about the instalation of a 3.4L, but Mike (from Roock) recomended me a 3.6L because a better performance due to its higher torque.

Whenever the motor & air intakes, sport exhaust... will be installed (I hope soon) I will keep you informed.

Right Konstantin, It's the RSB 340 conversion.
Do you have any news about this Roock conversion?

How did he remove the cats? Doesn't it require change in placement of O2 sensors?

I'm very impressed with the Horsepower Output utilizing that combination. Who was the ECU programmed by?

Is this something that you would recommend be done all at one time? Headers, intake, cat-removal, then ECU?

And given the power/weight ratio of the newly powered Boxster S, how would it now compare to a 996 C2?

Thanks for the help....

Thanks
