Silver over teal green
Greetings:
Newbie to this board. The first Boxster I drove back in early '97 was silver over a teal green leather, at Jim Ellis in Atlanta. I wound up not buying that car, but now am interested in finding a low-miles 97 with this color combo. Interestingly, in a city where 986s are plentiful, I've never seen another one. Questions:
1) Is there a FAQ somewhere with a year-by-year list of exterior/interior colors, as well as available options?
2) Was that combo available any other year than 97?
3) Could the interior be had with any other exterior, and has anyone else ever seen it with other than silver paint?
4)Is there a way I could hunt for such a car on the net? I've tried the obvious -- Google -- but get too many hits on dealers that show a SILVER BOXSTER, then the next car is a GREEN XJ8 or something. Not interested right now in commissioning a dealer to look for me.
5) What is the proper name for that interior?
Of course, if all this is in a FAQ, no need to answer!

The name of that color is Nephrite Green.
