Thanks guys..my search continues for the right 986.

Drove a sweet '00 today at a dealer - only 5k miles, but they want $34K for it. A bit steep given what I've heard here.

Just sold my 944 Turbo for $12K, so now I really need to get moving and find a Boxster.

Thanks again

We bought a 03 Boxster about a week ago from Carlsen's in Palo Alto. It was one of their loaners with 6500mi. The car listed for $51,525 we paid $41,900. When I called they said they take $5K off of list on their new ones. Ours is Seal Grey, black full leather, Bose, wind deflector, 17" wheels, remote alarm.

Just got an 03 silver, tip (yeah I am getting old), with PSM, alarm, heated seats, Boxster S II wheels, which listed at ~52K for 45K. That was $1300 over invoice. Probably could have done better but the Tips were harder to find.

Doc I purchased using the dealer's flex payment plan. 5 yrs, 37% residual. Its kind of like a lease, with 5k down the payments are lease like. But the interest rate was a bit high. What I'll do is pay this down some and refinance at a lower rate.

Three months ago I purchased a 99 boxster 13K miles, excellent condition $26,000.
I bought it from a dealer that was asking $29,000 but sold for $26,000 if I financed with them. I did this and after 2 months moved the financing to my own bank.

Hey all,

I just sold my 928 S4 and looking for a 98-99 Boxster with low miles. Can anyone point me in the right direction for used ones? I live in Arkansas. The two I have found here are 98 and 99 and they want 30k <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> which seems way over priced...one has even been wrecked, so I will have to look out of state.

Thanks

Hey Steve,

Yeah pretty slim pickins here in Arkansas. If I were you I would get a Dallas weekend newspaper. There are tons of Boxsters in the Dallas area. It's only a 4 to 5 hour drive. You might find something that you can actually drive home and not have the expense of shipping the car.

Did you see the one in today's Democrat Gazette? It was a '98 for $19,000.00 (?) Sounds a little low, but you never know......
