I had bad squeaks with my old Miata hard top during winter especially, Drove me bonkers until I pulled over and Tried some of that lock de-icer that's sold at Pepboys, squirted it where ever metal meets metal. ZERO noises afterwards.

Silicone or Gummi Phledge on ALL rubber. You may need to adjust it for tightness. I keep the hardtop on almost always and when adjusted properly with the rubber dressed, it is quite even on rough road.

remember that the top will settle too, mine made noise over every bump for the 1st week that it's on, since then it's been quiet

Check all the rubber seals are clean before fitting and then just about any lubricant on the pressure points is good. (please don't take that advice out of context !)

..also the 2 tabs that go into the windshield frame sometimes make noise. Thickening them with strips of felt keep them from moving in the slots and stop any clunks.
