Default GAL Function

Your CDR-220 does have the GAL capability "speed dependant volume control". That site was refering to cars that have DSP "digital signal processor" a version of our sound system that includes a control unit below your radio that gives you selections for equalizer, treble, base, etc. If you don't have to DSP the hack you cited does not apply to you.

The GAL settings can be adjusted. Check your radio manual.
