Default Need some assistance/advice

OK, here's the issue. My '01 S has had problems starting. When trying to start it will crank and crank without catching. The only way it would start is to turn the ignition on and let it sit for 30 seconds or so and then it will fire up. I had it checked at a couple of places and got advice and everything pointed to a defective check valve in the fuel pump. So, I got one on line and replaced it last night. Unfortunately, the issue has not gone away. https://rennlist.com/forums/newthrea...ewthread&f=67#

Any ideas on where to look next? Fuel pressure regulator? Filter? any other ideas?

Once the car starts it runs great and fuel mileage is about 20 city and 28 highway.

Thoughts? Suggestions? I'm stumped.

Thanks for any ideas

Could it be a bad starter motor?
