Default Armrest hinge

Just bought part #996 552 960 01, a center console hinge repair kit, from local porsche dealer. Does anyone have the instructions for this, or already has done this fix? Trying to sort out exactly how/where the two metal rivets are connected to the back of the console using the two metal .5" inch "u" brackets and the hinge, and if I need to pull the console to complete the fix.

If you have the small piece behind the console, you will need to have that out to install the hinge kit.

It pops into two small holes in the back, facing the rear of the vehicle. If the very back piece is undone from the console, you place two of the orange clips up against the two holes behind the storage box, and the screws go into those clips to hold the hinge tight against the upper section.

Should make sense once you get the piece out though.
