Attached is a picture of the Borla system. As you can see the mufflers are much smaller which accounts for the vitality of the sound from this system. It is also much lighter than systems with large mufflers.

@ Borla,

Do you have a dyno chart of the car w/ & w/o the exhaust? How much does it weight?

Weight Comparison: Borla: 16 Lbs. Factory: 37 Lbs

Horsepower/Torque Data: Gains = 6 Horsepower and 5 lb. ft of torque

The factory weight is based off of which muffler?

Horsepower/Torque Data: Gains = 6 Horsepower and 5 lb. ft of torque

Do you have any dyno charts/graphs?

Factory weight is based off the original exhaust from the car we used for prototyping. I believe it was a 2001 3.2L opposed 6cyl Boxster S.

I will work on posting the dyno graph.

thanks,

Actually, I weighed my OEM exhaust when I replaced it with my Dansk unit, and found the OEM factory muffler (muffler only, and not including u-pipes or clamps) to be 28 pounds. My dansk exhaust was 26 pounds, and my friend's factory PSE sports exhaust was 41 lbs.

The weight of my '00 S muffler with u-tubes, clamps, and the top support was 35lbs on the nose.
