Default Actron auto scanner

Looking to buy a ODBII reader and I saw Sears/Craftsman has one on sale..

Anyone know anything about this scanner???

I've got one. Bought it for $79. at pep boys to get the codes on the audi when the cel came on. Worked well on the boxster, but then again, the boxster had no error codes. Was able to clear the cel on the audi with it(vacuum check valve)

I have the Actron Pocketscan,its great! Does it job,give me the code and clears it!

If you have a laptop and only want to work on your Porsche check out the Durametric scanner (www.durametric.com). It's more expensive but it will read and clear far more than just emmissions-related OBDII codes. Clicking on a code will take you to the company's website where you can see what they know about the fault. Users are able to post their fixes there, too. Like I already said, if all you want to work on is late model (993 & newer) Porsches this thing is it.
