Default boxster 3.4 feeler

Hi all, I may be selling my modded low miles boxster and thought I would mention it here. I will know by the weekend for sure.
Its an awesome car and I am pretty sure the first person who drives it will buy it. Its that much fun.
Very quick, agile and all the good things a boxster is, but also fast, great torque and straighline performance.
Just over 30k on the car, less than 11k on the 996 3.4 motor and less than 5k on the conversion.

Conversion done by Autosport Engineering. I believe they have done more of these than almost anyone and do great work.
Car is very light, around 2800lbs. Artic silver/boxster red.
2001 3.4L Porsche 996 engine with mileage at installation of 6,200miles.

Maybe I missed it, but what year is it? What kind of title? Looks really sharp . Should be an "easy" sell!

thanks blinkwatt, its a great car.

Racer. its a 97 m.y. which was chosen because that was the year with the lightest weight cars. So many elements of the car were changed the only things that mattered to us was the weight and color combo.

Not to be coy but I am not sure right now. We are leaving today to fly to Seattle and drive/inspect a car. If I get it, we will drive back down the Cascades and coast to home. This will take a few days, will cover all kinds of driving and will tell me for sure where I stand on the car(s), both new and old, or in this case old and older!
I do know it will be in the 30's somewhere. Will check back in on Monday and let you know.

Isn't that about twice the retail value?

There is a retail value on a 3.4 Boxster? I think not.
It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for a well modded Boxster with an awesome engine swap!
Where was this car when I was in the market!

Xavier is correct in that with any modded and unique car the value is what the marketplace agrees on.

I have over $60k in reciepts for the mods alone on this car, sure you can do the math on that end of it.

Riverfyler did you do anything to the transmission to make up for the added power?

I think the quote is usually 50 cents or less on the dollar for mods (especially since it could that over 1/2 of that receipt money is labor alone?)

Regardless... Great looking car. I can only imagine what it's "replacement" must look like!

thanks Racer, Just returned from an 1100 mile road trip with the new ride. , JZR triple adjustable susp, 643hp/597ftlbstorque 3.8tt with schrick cams, Mahle pistons, big brakes, big stereo and full carbon interior and much more. What a rocket and a beautifully handling car that accelerates like a thrill ride at the fair.

thank you.
I think for the time being I have decided to keep the car. Its just too much fun to let go. If ( or when) that changes Rennlisters will be the first to know. John
