Default Yes another stereo question....

Ok I have a 98 with an upgraded stereo system, after market head unit amp and speakers. This was all done before I purchased the car and whoever did it did a great job. My problem is I purchased an 8" sub for the car which I am running through the amp; however the mids are running from the amp as well. I can only run on either the high frequency or low frequency so either vocals and little bass comes from the sub, or just bass comes out of the sub and nothing comes out of the mids.

I would like to run the mids straight from the head unit because it is 45w per channel, and the sub through the amp. I am concerned with all the threads that I have read about electrical issues with the cars after some stereo work.

So after that novel, does anyone know of any problems that may occur if any? Am I paranoid or not? Just do it and shut up....

Thank you
Brad

I can't see any reason why that would cause any issues. especially since the entire stock system has already been replaced.

I wouldn't think so, but I figured I would ask before diving into it.
