Default Turn signal switch

My turn signal switch has just failed. It started by not cancelling in left turn and then not latching in right turn and now it won't catch in either. Do I have to replace the entire combination switch? If so then I assume I have to replace the one that has wiper, speed control, computer etc. Is that correct and how hard is that to do? Thanks

This just happened to mine too. You may not have to replace anything, but definitely not everything. If the signal switch has really failed, it is separate from the others. There's a collar that may have loosened so you may want to check it out before you buy a replacement. Check here for the answer I got to this problem. It's worth a try.

John.
Was it the clamp? Your problem was the same as mine.
Thanks
