39K For Boxster S - 15K Miles - Good/Bad/Average?
A dealer near me has an 03 Boxster S for sale in Carmen Red. Unusual color, not very popular. He is asking 39K for it and the car is in absoltuely MINT condition - loaded. The previous owner was an older gentleman (68) and the car was never run hard. He bought the car at that dealership and just traded it in for a new one. Its just coming on the market and is Porsche Certified with warranty to 100K miles.
So is 39K good/bad/average for an 03 S? I checked the KBB and its literally retail book value. KBB says 30-31K is the trade in value for it.
Let me here some opinions?
PS. I have been a Porsche enthusiast since I was a teenager and have been wanting a Boxster since the day it came out but was always too practical and could not justify it . My father says life is too short and you are not getting any younger so....

I purchased an '03 S last September with PSM, Heated Seats, Bose and a couple of other options for $38,700 with 9600 miles on it. I think they are about $3000 too high, $36,000 would be a good price IMHO. Of course mine isn't CPO but I have the factory warranty through June '08.
