Default Is this an option.....

I see some 986's with a painted to match center console. What option is this? Or, is it part of a "package"

Also, is their a link to all the options for each model year? Needless to say I am getting confused by everyones terms like...Loaded, all the options, winter package, Sport package, ........

TIA

Or....come see me. Much less than the factory option price, easily self-installed, core swaps, etc.

No problem, good luck with your search,. I bought my 01 S about 2 months ago and so far I am really pleased with it.

Ah yes..the search...My problem is I'am too cheap and like to get an '00/'01 S with options for $20K (my wife thinks if we wait until fall, we may see that or maybe less....I am not sure that cheap.)

Everyone talks about so many Boxsters on the market and a ton coming off lease. Do you think the "S" 's will come down that much? Maybe someome in need a cash quick...not sure.

I could see the 911's values holding strong in all years, but hoping the Boxster values will drop. These cars don't seem to be collectors and are drivers. Especially with the engine kinda as a disposable item. No rebuilds..correct?

98/99's seem to be 18K - 19K
00/01 still are at 22K- 23K then add on for an "S"

Any thought as to whether I am on crack with wishes ?

I hope the S does not get that cheap
I paid 27K for my 01 with 37K miles and quite a few options.
I have seen high mile 00 S's going for the low 20's.

For all the current owners, I hope they don't, but for me as a buyer, hope they do ! Isn't that always the case...

Evan,

Since you had a 993 you may not be happy with a Non S Boxster.
The market does seem a bit soft this year for used Porsches, at least here in the North east.
maybe you will get lucky with a "cheap S"

My thoughts exactly. Prices seem good on Non S's, but I don't know if I would be happy unless it was an "S"

Hoping to get lucky.
