Hey Guys,

I just bought a CD system for my Boxster on ebay from a guy who upgraded his to a communication management system. As I get it, there is some sort of security code that needs to be punched in when you install the system right? where can I find this code?

the guy that sold it to you should have it in with the owners manual. It's a credit card sized card with the code on it. I think you can get it from the dealer also, but not sure what they will say if youjust bring in a radio that doesn't really belong in the car to begin with. Don't know if it goes off of the radio ID on the radio, or if it's tied from the factory to the VIN of the car... not sure on that one.

But the code is obtainable... I would ask the guy you bought it from if he still has the card (hopefully he does). save the hassle at the dealer if at all possible.
