Default 19 inch wheels on a 986

Hi there,

Nice Forum!

Does anyone here know if it's possible to put 19 Inch wheels from the 987 onto a '03 986 S?

I'm thinking specifically about the lovely Carrera Techno Alloys you can spec on the 987 S.

I would have thought the offsets were the same? Also Looking at the rubberband spec profiles on the 19" wheeled cars I would have assumed that they have the same rolling radius as the 18" wheels?

Anyway, any help would be appreciated!

Cheers

A

I believe you could but you will need spacers...if you look in the Sportec website the wheels on the 996,987 and 986 are all the same size and offsets in the 19, but they have specific spacer requirements, I also saw Danny Cho's boxster in the latest Luxury and exotics, have 19X8.5 and 9X10.5 hre wheels with 295/30 rear and 245/35 fronts good golly
